About the Brewery...

The Hogs Back Brewery is an independent brewery based in Tongham, Surrey. Founded in 1992, it is now one of Britain's most successful micro-breweries. The brewery is housed in farm buildings dating back to the 18th century, where they produce a wide range of both cask and bottle-fermented beers. Their flagship, award-winning beer is the TEA (Traditional English Ale).

About the Beer... 

Poured carefully, the beer is bright amber in the glass, with a relatively small head. The level of carbonation is quite low, so in the mouth T.E.A. closely resembles cask ale. The hops push through with citrus, zesty overtones. The bitterness then presents itself and the fruity character leaves you with the typical finish of an English ale. True to type, it is a benchmark of quality.
