About the Brewery...
As with so many of these enterprises, the Hop Back Brewery started its life in the cellar of a pub, The Wyndham Arms on the outskirts of Salisbury. Here - back in 1986 - John Gilbert started brewing quality ales for sale in the bar above. Within two years, beer aficionados far and wide were raving about the brews, another pub was bought, and Hop Back confidently began its journey towards the dizzy heights of brewing superstardom!
About the Beer...
The citrus notes from the mix of Golding, Pioneer, Saaz and Tettnang hops are enhanced by the addition of a little coriander to the copper. A fine, refreshing, bittersweet ale, delicate in body but filled with summery orange and lemon notes plus an interesting, peppery, earthy spiciness.
PLEASE NOTE: As this beer ferments in the bottle sediment will exist. As a guide store upright and pour extremely carefully.
