About the Brewery... 

Based within the historic city walls, York brewery was established in 1996 to craft traditionally brewed ales and by doing so created the first beers to come from within the city walls for over 40 years.  From the outset high quality has been the watchword with an emphasis on creating exceptional Yorkshire beers 'from yesteryear'.

About the Beer...

Only a beer of exceptional quality could be named after such a magnificent structure as York Minster.  This is a balanced malty, clean tasting beer which is big on full hop flavour with a great bittersweet aftertaste.  An impressive beer full of Yorkshire character that will not disappoint.  Pair with a meal of spicy Cumberland sausage and you can't go wrong.
